According to Benzinga, the Tesla Model 3 is the world's most popular electric car, having been searched for the most times on the internet in 2022, according to a study by sustainable energy and charging startup Gridserve. The electric car sedan was searched for around 20 million times, with the majority of searches coming from Europe, North America and Oceania. Tesla's Model Y, Model S and Model X also appear in the top 10 most searched electric car models, in third, fifth and seventh place.
