When you exchange currency, the system automatically calculates the maximum amount you can exchange. You can find this amount listed as Exchangeable Amount on the moomoo App.
The exchangeable amount may depend on different factors, such as recent deposits and withdrawals, the value of shares bought and sold, transaction fees, and clearing and settlement dates.
For example, if you sell $10,000 worth of shares on the US stock market on the transaction day (Day T), the proceeds will not be added to the Exchangeable Amount until one day after the transaction day (Day T+1) when the Exchange will have completed the settlement of this transaction.
To check your exchangeable amount:
