SpaceX is set to sell insider shares at $112 in a tender offer according to BBG.
This surpasses the $180 billion valuation is achieved in December, just than 6-months ago.

I can't blame Elon for backing down/relenting.
A. he has many projects which receive U.S. federal funding (important)
B. SpaceX is competing with Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos) and therefore is not USA's sole option for rocketry.
C. Tesla could be stuck in lawsuits forever

It’s a shame you have 2 of the most American companies, Tesla and SpaceX, and they are often criticized more than celebrated.
Today we just witnessed history with SpaceX’s Starship reaching orbit on its third flight, marking us one step closer to reaching Mars.
