10baggerbamm OP 包小姐老公的养老金 : selling a winner Apple which is on the verge of having its a iPhones actually have a dramatic increase in sales starting next year and for Christmas because the apps are being developed to take advantage of what the phone has the capability of providing and once that starts the sales of phones will accelerate which means their profits will go up which means the stock price goes up.
if he's got all this cash $325 billion he should be using the cash to buy oxy if he believes in it or he should just take the company private.
but I'll make you and anybody else a bet that Trump does what he says and that oil prices will be down 50% in 12 months from him taking office and profits for oil companies will drop significantly and their stock prices also will follow and all you have to do is pull a long-term chart and plot price of oil versus the big oil companies there's 100% correlation and it will not deviate this time
10baggerbamm OP Adol Christin : what I am doing to take advantage of what Trump is going to do is I have a position in drip which is a leveraged ETF that is an inverse ETF against oil prices. as oil prices fall this ETF goes up and I expect within 12 months of January 20th to see this ETF in the low to mid twenties.
just so that you know and I've said this more times than I can count I do not short stocks.
I learned the hard way a long time ago I was short a company and it was acquired it halted trading it was a cash deal it represented a significant instantaneous loss so off of that lesson I learned never too Short stocks you have unlimited loss potential by shorting your gain is limited to the stock going to zero that's your maximum gain so the risk reward is not there
