Historically speaking, September has been the worst month for the stock market. Could this year be any different? The rise of the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ so far has bolstered hopes that the index will continue to perform well for the rest of the year. Talks of an impending market correction and time for a pullback should not sway investors from staying vested in the market. Buying and selling simply based on the month of the calender is not necessary a wise strategy. It is better to stay vested in the market to maximise gains than to attempt to time the market since it is difficult if not almost impossible to correctly time market tops and bottoms. Moving forward, the ride upwards could be bumpy and investment portfolio may be hit along the way. So long as investors are aware of the potential risks ahead and holding on strong quality stocks like ...

My point of view is that, should the stock market decline, it won’t be because it’s the ninth month of the calendar.
There seem to be no sound theoretical or statistical reason to bet that September is bad for the stock market.
$Amazon (AMZN.US)$ and $Apple (AAPL.US)$ are worth watching during September 2021.
$Amazon (AMZN.US)$ has made initiatives to move into new markets. The company also launched a telehealth service recently. Amazon always finds ways to grow.

QE and the debt ceiling will crash the market. When the Fed injects so much money into it that the bubble burst and the dollar crashes.I would say when the RR reaches 2 trillion dollars October 1, which will become the new association to the words “Black Friday.” US sees it as the only way to get rid of the world debt, by wiping the slate clean. The world debt was caused and is dependent on the dollar. Bitcoin, silver, and gold will be the currency for a short period until they get the New World digital currency into effect. Thats the only way the world will accept it, given a choice they never would. So they are destroying it and forcing their new digital Americo crypto upon us. ...

“September’s Curse”, the investors are all pointing out. This is because September is traditionally the weakest month for all trading globally. Can the investors escape this dreadful predicament, this 2021? Although recently, US technology stocks, like NasdaqIncle has peaked, but there remains the forbidding forecast of an impending recession worldwide. So can the investors escape this fate unscratched this year? Since this is a fifty, fifty question, then why not we err in caution by focussing on long term investment this September. Look forward to a Better tomorrow and get to enjoy the harvest of your foresight. So cheer up guys!...

September is the month when it is widely speculated that generally, there is a harsh nosedive of all commodities in the trading world. Hence it's derived name, the September's Curse. Truly speaking, is September such a fearful month? More horrifying than last month, the so called "Hungry Ghost" month in the lunar calendar?
Historically, all shares take a downward plunge in September. There was proven record of the Giants like $(S&P)(.SPX.US)$ and Daw Jones buisness decline under 2020 September's Curse. Will our eminent investment gurus like Warren Buffett and Cathie Wood expect a "bearish" or a " bullish" spell come mid September? As an investor, my advice is to tread very prudently in order to safeguard our hard earned treasure trove.💰💸💴...

Market will rise steadily until FED officially announce tapering
In my opinion, the market has digested most of the possible bad news. For instance the tapering and rise of interest rate. Therefore, the coming employment data will be the key. If the employment data is worse than expectation, FED might postpone the exact date of tapering in the coming FOMC, eventually market will get a relief

The US market has been bullish for an extended time so a correction seems due any time. Given that tapering is on the cards and September is traditionally a lacklustre month, I’m not optimistic the market will beat the September curse.

When should I sell my Stocks?
There are endless reddit post about which stock to buy today but very little is being said about selling stocks. It’s just not something that gets discussed very often so in this video I wanted to share some thoughts.
As always this isn’t financial advice and for educational purposes only.
A lot of people are under the impression that stocks should be held forever and that selling is always a mistake. After all even Warren Buffett is saying that his "favorite holding time is forever".
This is of course true but only if the stock you own still offers strong fundamentals and the opportunity for appreciation beyond your hurdle rate. Unfortunately the world isn’t perfect and as we know even Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is selling stocks
So when is it ok to sell a stock? Is there such a moment?
Pfil Fisher discusses this topic in his famous book Common Stocks & Common Profits. I highly recommend that you read it when you have a chance as it is one of the best books on Investing out there. I will add a link in the comments below.
So when can or should I sell my stock”?
The biggest reason would be if you made a mistake buying the stock in the first place. Nobody wants to admit that they made a mistake but mistakes happen. Maybe we bought a stock based on a Tip or didn’t research enough.
Of course its better to avoid buying it in the first place but if you have a “mistake” in your portfolio then correct it and sell the stock.

I have about 100k in the market. I have been very responsible. I have a 5 month emergency fund. I max out my Roth every year. No 401k through my biz, it's crap. I drive a Pontiac Vibe from 2005, which I love. However, I kind of got the itch to buy a new car at 30k.
So, cash for the whole thing, or is the loan at 3.5% a better option. I suppose my 30k in a sp500 would do about 7% a year. Opinions plz!

On September 6 (goods association, cicc research report pointed out that since August non-farm payrolls did not improve, the fed announced in September the probability of Taper will decline, but the years announced Taper is our base case August non-farm jobs despite the poor performance, but given on 6 July employment data, the average new jobs in the past three months doesn't look bad In addition, the rise in wage growth in August has raised concerns about inflation risks, and hawkish officials will not easily abandon their support for an early Taper...

102109868 : Good sharing - very logical and Assuring . Let’s debunk the “ myth “
RRKN : Highly informative.
HopeAlways OP 102109868 : Thanks. Contrary to what the market naysayers would claim, the market may even gain some more.
Spearhead : let's hope that such prediction may not come forth..for sept.
102089245 : Very reassuiring, we should not simply panic over the September Curse.
