This is an exciting market that traders and investors should learn more about. i believe it is not to replace stock investing, but crypto can be a diversification for the existing portfolio. we all should own some $Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ or crypto related stocks such as $Coinbase (COIN.US)$

I first heard about Bitcoin $Bitcoin (BTC.CC)$ when I was still a student but dismissed it as a viable form of investment. It seemed like a new-fangled fad that would peter out eventually and I could not envision a world where cryptocurrency would be widely accepted. Why would we need a digital currency when fiat currencies had been serving us well? Investing in companies was safer as it was the traditional way, easily accessible through licensed brokerages and the value of a company was backed by its financial statements.
Fast forward to 2020-2021. Bitcoin has been dominating headlines for hitting new highs in market value at a time when companies are struggling to cope with mandatory lockdowns and shifting to a new paradigm of working from home, teleconferences, online shopping and contactless deliveries. People who invested in Bitcoin in the early days are now millionaires. Corporations in other industries are investing in Bitcoin. More companies are accepting it as a form of payment. These developments make me re-evaluate digital currencies in a new light. However, I am daunted by the staggering number of coins to choose from, some which I have never even heard of ...

Good job moomoo for adding crypto!
It is able to monitor various crypto just like we monitor the stocks!
But how about adding the ability to trade ?!
We shld be able to execute our trades and monitor all our cryptos as well!!
How about adding a moomoo coin to crypto?

its amazing how moomoo includes crypto in the watchlist to allow investors to easilt navigate the different assets! despite not being able to trade crypto in the platform, it allows me to monitor the cryptocurrency easily! kudos to moomoo!

Great idea to also include Crypto for investor to check as quite a number of financial institutions $Coinbase (COIN.US)$ $MARA Holdings (MARA.US)$ $Block (SQ.US)$ etc are somewhat dependent on Crypto prices. Being able to access all in ine apps are great. Really Simple and Easy instructions to do so on moomoo too.

I think the cryptocurrency quote feature is just cool for non-traders to see for fun. As it is not tradeable yet on moomoo, actual traders would probably monitor their crypto on their actual crypto apps. It's still nice to have this extra information lying around for users to see here and there! Personally I think the UI is a little confusing, as it's the first time I see so many exchange rates/quotes among so many cryptocurrencies. Looking forward to any new updates from moomoo if a cryptowallet would ever be implemented, but that would be huge! ...

It is as simple as we (🌍) have different currency all over the world in different countries (e.g., 💵,💴,💶,💷etc), the markets also have their own specified currency so called “crypto currency” (e.g., Bitcoin🪙, Ethereum💎, Binance Coin💰 etc).
Eventually, this feature provides a full coverage (I would say, most of it) of different market coins’ value changes. I believe that it was meant to provide easy reference to users from different markets in this same platform.
Just like you go to “forex” in Moomoo, you can see the fluctuation of each currency, a quick recap as we viewed in the tutorial, you can also get to know the price changes of each crypto currencies in just a glance (of course you need to scroll down 😅).
If you are familiar with the usage of crypto currency, then you would appreciate the existence of this feature. However, if you are not familiar, just like me - beginner, you can just pick it up for knowledge purposes, take it as a lesson learnt or preparation for future usage before stepping into their market
P/S: Beginners like me have been trying hard to survive in the market

It is really heartening to see moomoo setting up training lessons for beginners. I myself just started learning about trading recently and i am sure the lessons will benefit many.
For this first lesson, Crypto Quotes were covered. I'm not really interested in Crypto but I assume that whoever is interested in them would find this interesting and hopefully beneficial for them in the future.Now i will just have to wait up for the other lessons that would be coming in the near future. Its quite interesting to know that there is such a feature on moomoo platform which allows users who do not explore the app alot to be able to check up on realtime quotes on crypto. ![]()

This provides us with an alternative diversification other than stocks. If there is a chance to be allowed to start trading in crypto on moomoo it would surely be easier to keep track of both stocks and crypto within the same app at the same time. ![]()
