It helps a lot to learn and understand how to read end of the year corporate reports. Often it's not what they "say" that's important but, rather what's left out of those hundreds of boring pages. So, understanding finance and ROIs helps.
I have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad among others and also watch a lot of documentaries regarding money and finance. It’s nice to learn more because it opens our mind to the world out there and you learn a lot of other things which also includes power, greed, taxation, corporations, how the rich live, etc. Learning also boost our brain power & help in decision making. I just wish I had more real books to read though. ![]()

Any books entitled Investing For Dummies to learn the baseline ideas of how the market works and how the different financial tools are used in the valuing of stocks. Not going to be a pro trader but a pro dummy in the end.
