June 28, at 8:30 AM ET, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the May PCE data, the Fed's preferred measure of inflation. The overall PCE inflation rate for May is expected to rise by 0.07%, while the core PCE inflation rate is projected to increase by 0.10%. If the data meets these expectations, it will be the lowest PCE read since March 2021. A lower-than-expected PCE deflator may raise the probability of a Fed rate cut in September while boosting the odds of two cuts before the end of the year.

1. How will May PCE data affect the rate cuts?
2. Will you adjust your investment strategies based on the PCE data?l
