Personally, I use a combination of Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis.
I find Fundamental Analysis most useful for long term investments, while Technical Analysis is more useful for short term trading and market timing. This is why I like to use a combination of both analysis to plan and execute investments over the medium and long term ones.
And as always, 2 is better than 1, isn’t it?

Invest in the company which you believe the most. Only pull out when the fundamentals of the company change. Invested in Tesla $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ because of it’s business fundamentals and its the best investing decision I’ve made! #Tesla #FA

My belief is the selection should come from fundamental, if we desired to be a successful investor. The financials show The strength of the company in actual format that is understood by financial literacy investors. The knowledge of the fInancials will enable you to read the internal organs of the company, how it is functioning. We prefer to pick one company wIth all the healthy vital organs. So my pick is fundamental first.
Then we move on to technical. The price keep fluctuatIng, you think should we follow the uptrend to buy at a higher price and keep bidding for a higher price just to lock in at the moment of the surge of price. Or we wait till it is going down and buy at the lowest point when the price is rock-bottom? But??? Is today’s price the real rock bottom? Will tomorrow the price continue to fall or will it rebound and surge again. Technical analysIs will allow you to see the chart, the lInes, the movement. Expecting to buy or sell at which lines’ intersection point. Technical analysis allow you to see during a bull or bear run, the trend of when to enter and exit.
So both is as important, but for me I will start to read on dummy to fundamental analysis understandings all the zzz financial ratios, figures, the boring statements first.
Then go into the Moo-Moo and use all the useful charts. I personally think Moo-Moo in my opinion is one of the better platform with a lot of information. We are only afraid that you don’t want to learn. If you really want to pick up skills, training, trading knowledge, frankly I think you just spend 30 minutes a day and read some courses, comments, news, forum discussions or chat with someone you follow or followers. Every chances You log into Moo Moo is a golden opportunities for you to be a better trader, investor, speculator, guru, whatever you called it.

Looking for divergence is a good indication of reversal. Divergence means price and oscillator are moving in different direction. E. g. Price goes higher high but oscillator like RSI is goes lower low. This indicates price will reverse to downtrend

I personally use the Moving Averages, Fibonacci retracement, Chart patterns to spot like George W, shooting star, wedges, pennant, head and shoulders, cup holder setup to identify bullish/bearish trends and plan my entry and exit points for the stocks that I believe in their fundamental value. That's why we need to do our homework and DD before investing. Thanks for organising this contest MooMoo team

In my humble opinion, I will sit on the fence by opting a mixture of both techniques. It actually all depends on the market timing and the latest trends in this world. Take for instance, you may undertake the fundamental approach for investing in AAPL or the TSLA shares. By holding on the above quality stocks, your approach will never go astray. The technical analysis principle is more profitable for some short term investors who wish to hit the

This post is in response to the "homework assignment" from the mooSchool Summer Camp I attended, I.e. I am not recommending any stock, I just want to hand in my homework like a good student, ha ha :
I actually looked into $SamuderaShipping (S56.SG)$ back on Sept 2nd, the first of the following two screenshots is from that day.
Fundamental Analysis: checked their results announcements on SGX.com's Company Announcements > Samudera > Financial Statements; they have been doing well, despite covid.
Technical Analysis : Pls see the circled parts and observations on the screenshot itself. Yeah, pretty basic stuff, but sometimes simple is best.
Actually, be it FA and /or TA, a healthy dose of good luck is necessary to arrive at the below results, as shown in the next screenshot taken some minutes ago on today Sept 8th.
