Looks like Netflix is pulling a sneaky move here. So, Greg Peters and the gang over at Netflix have decided they're too cool for school, deciding they won't be sharing their subscriber numbers anymore. Talk about keeping your cards close to your chest, eh?
Now, historically, us mere mortals in the streaming world have relied on these numbers to gauge who's winning the streaming wars. But nah, Netflix is all like, "We've evolved, mat...

The pattern that we observed throughout the week at the NYSE index appeared to shadow yesterday's trading session. We saw some early gains which seem to dissipate after the market show lack of strong buying interest.
The dominance of decliners over advancers across both NYSE and NASDAQ was reflected in the trading session. Yesterday session saw the major indexes ended mixed, with S&P 500, NASDAQ and Russell 2000 giving their fifth consecuti...

Netflix (NFLX) has been trading within a long-term Channel Up on the logarithmic scale for the past 20 months. The trend is very aggressive to the upside and since the first Bullish Leg made a Higher High on February 03 2022 on a +130.30% rise, we do expect a similar % rally that would technically target a little below $800, so aiming at $750 would be a fair price.

Netflix is about to get a lot more expensive for a huge chunk of its subscriber base.
With the Basic plan retiring, the next cheapest option is US$15.49 per month for the Standard tier (aka, new Basic!)—a sizable increase over time—or US$22.99 for the Premium tier. The ad-based tier still costs just US$6.99 per month but comes with commercial breaks. Ditching commercials was, ironically enough, one of the biggest draws for consumers t...

That said Netflix has the most content throughput and lowest churn … if other services replicate it is likely their churn will increase and not have the same growth as what Netflix experienced.
If other services get better with their content release cadence to retain subscribers then, yes, I could see the password crackdown coming for them as well.

At 572, Netflix is up 100 points YTD; up 200 points ttm; with sub gains being cited as the major lift for the stock; having added 13mil subs during their latest quarter. Netflix claims password sharing crackdown's staggered application among countries is expected to drive growth for several years. As far as I know only Disney has adopted the policy so far; havin...
