According to a MagnifyMoney study, 21.9% of Americans 65 and older are working in May 2022, jumping from 19.5% in May 2020.
What's tempting them?
Besides pandemic, both higher pay and inflation could encourage people to return to work. The 2022 stock market downturn could have older adults concerned about the state of retirement savings.

retirement as an outdated concept

I think retirement is now an outdated concept. With people living longer than ever, spending such a long period of time in retirement is not only just boring but can be quite a torture. Instead, I believe we should all be living in the present moment more, yet not forgetting about saving and investing for the rainy day.
