What is your dividend portfolio?

I am not $Gladstone Investment(GAIN.US)$ A few months ago, without even what is it. And I got a 15% gain for now! It made me to think about changing my strategy on the dividend stocks or ETFs.

I found an article about it in seeking alpha, it recommended

$Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF(SCHD.US)$ $Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF(VYM.US)$

But I know nothing about what a good portfolio is, so can I share some experiences about how to choose the dividend portfolio?
