Well, it's unfortunate, but the meeting with OPEC and world leaders that was supposed to take place on Monday has been officially delayed, no earlier than the 8th or 9th. Will it take place now? With that said, you're probably going to see some people selling off. Don't be one of those dummies. You should be buying their mistake. Buy the dip when they start selling off and hold it. You have to realize that if our economy is getting crushed by this massive overflow of oil, what do you think it's doing to Russia? Saudi Arabia may be able to weather it for a while, but 90% of their economy is oil, with barrels they're selling at $6 and $8 a piece. How long do you think they can survive like that?

  • Trader-101 OP : now if you're in at a high price I would definitely recommend selling off and then buying the dip but if you got a decent entry I wouldn't worry about selling it I would just accumulate more as it drops

  • Mwey : also would it be good to play 2 or 3 weeks out from now just in case they don't reach a deal by the end of next week?

  • Trader-101 OP Mwey : if they have the meeting you can bet your bottom dollar that they've already come to terms and that's just making it official now if they can't come to terms the meeting will never take place so I don't but if you look into it thoroughly neither country can afford not to Saudis yes they have money but realize where they got that money from and the past couple months of selling barrels of oil at $68 a piece 90% of their economy is based off of oil so they can do it but at some point it's going to have to be changed and Russia's economy is not strong enough to keep doing it they were doing it for a different reason because they don't have a strong economy and our economy was thriving when this happened so you see ours now imagine how theirs is being affected their almost crippled they can't afford not to fix the oil market because at some point they're going to realize that their economy is in ruins and it's too late so trust me they're going to do it sooner rather than later

  • Trader-101 OP : but with that said they're going to try to go about it the most strategic way possible to benefit them so that's what's holding it up they probably can't get the the details down just yet they're going to be bullish and bullheaded about it but in the end somebody's going to crack and they're going to come to terms

  • Trader-101 OP Mwey : if you can't afford to take an initial hit the market is likely to down train hard on oil tomorrow sell off pre-market put your order in tonight and then buy back after the dip me I've got a great entry I'm holding I don't know how good of an injury you have or if you have any but oil is definitely still the play there's just going to be a little more downtrend because of this delay

  • Mwey Trader-101 OP : I haven't played any oil just yet but waiting to get in a a better entry I hope. tha is for the advice as always [undefined]

  • Mwey : also are you still in stocktwits? can't seem to find you on there

  • Trader-101 OP Mwey : yeah about probably an hour maybe less in the pre-market they should take the hard as they're going to sell off hard at first and that's when you buy when it dropped 20% you see a big drop as soon as you see that even if you go down a couple percent with it grab it at that point make sure you can get it at the bottom because it'll start to recover and then go down and get in and gradually but got the sharpest drop

  • Trader-101 OP Mwey : yeah I don't go by knowledge is power on there I'm on there

  • Mwey Trader-101 OP : no? it's not you right;) so tlt is the inverse of spy?
