ThatGuyTrading : How do you do the stop loss work? Am I able to do that with options or no because of the huge jumps in trouble?

Trader-101 OP ThatGuyTrading : well here you got to go to your conditional orders click on that red tab says conditional orders now they'll give you two options you could do a stop loss or a trailing stop-loss that's the one I use the trailing stop loss what that does it helps you secure more profit if you put a gap amount you could either do it in percentage or dollar amount say you want to trailing 3.00 stop loss like on Netflix what that's going to do for you it's going to allow you to make more profit as it goes up say it starts at 3 90 it goes all the way up to 400 now before it allows it to drop any further to pass 397 and sells it for you so that $3 Gap it allows it did go down but it won't lay always go down any further now what's a traditional stop loss you got to set a dollar amount and you would have to change it every time it went up to a new level this way you don't have to watch it at set and as soon as it meets your Gap it sells it for you you secure more profit that way
