Trader-101 : NEVER GO INTO AN OPTION THAT HAS NO VOLUME AND NO TURN OVER THERE'S NOT Enough Open Enough Open Enough Volume for me to say go for it
Trader-101 : I would go with one of these two with a long-term call option especially with the government pondering 30% steak and energy market to stabilize it

$Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE.US)$
Justin Thompson OP Trader-101 : Can you explain how to interpret the volume that's there versus what's needed? I doubt kabir what im seeing wrong.
Justin Thompson OP : *I don't know what im not seeing
Trader-101 Justin Thompson OP : well today you won't be able to because it's not selling but Monday when you see volume that's how many contracts were actually purchase that day then you compared to the open interest so now you can see how many people bought it versus how many people sold it open interested buyers and sellers so if the volume almost as high as the open interest that means it's mostly buyers now you can have a contract to where you know there's 30 open interest but no volume that means 30 people are trying to sell that contract and there's nobody's buying it
