I have a question. if I have a contract expiration for next week and I sell it now and buy another for next week is that considered day trading????

70087910 : if you sell short then buy the same security on the same day, it is considered a day trade.
PREMOSULTRAA : If you buy first, then sell at the same day, it would be considered a day trade. But if you sell the contract you bought earlier before, then buy in at the same day, it wouldn't be a day trade, forgive me if I am wrong.
