$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$has confirmed a deal to buy British chipmaker Arm Holdings from$SoftBank Group (ADR) (SFTBY.US)$, Valued at $40 billion, the transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to NVIDIA’s non-GAAP gross margin and non-GAAP earnings per share.
NVIDIA has a higher price to earnings ratio than the average company (27.79) in the semiconductor industry, which indicates that the market is optimisitc about its future.
