Crazy but TSLA is crazy.
I pay close attention to the EV makes, such as $Tesla(TSLA.US$ , $NIO Inc(NIO.US$ , $Workhorse(WKHS.US$ , $XPeng(XPEV.US$ ., which are evry capital-intensive industry. If Elon does that, TSLA can hit $1 trillion market cap this year itself.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they end up being the most valuable company in the world.

Poppaquarius : No way they'll hit a trillion market cap this year. They don't have anywhere near the amount of product to claim thatp. TSLA still isn't profitable. TSLA is seriously overvalued. Making their own batteries will help bring down costs. But, at a time like this Tesla cars are still not very affordable to most of the US population. Check Elon's record of unfulfilled guarantees.
ROSE_31 OP Poppaquarius : Yes, Tesla car is not cheap for the most of people. If they can handle the batteries, it will make a breakthrough on profit. I am looking forward to the battery time next week.

treydongui Poppaquarius : model 3 only 30,000 base models. it's not dirty cheap but EXCELLENT, INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES AND CONCEPTS BEING USED HERE. Many have tried to break the stranglehold that "Big Oil" had on the automotive industry (gas). Many have died trying to revolutionize the industry while simultaneously being more eco friendly. Point is, @ElonMusk has finally accomplished this seemingly impossible task. So many people have waited for this breakthrough and will support them fully now. And 2 more huge points. Elon is a shaker and a mover. If there is a problem usually they find the answers and fix it, instead of paying outside companies or sub contractors. He could possibly stem new business here from Batteries, EV Parts, FRONTRUNNER benefits, cargo EVs and so on for example. Like SpaceX and Boring Company. Also, (my favorite) EVs have greatly reduced the amount of PARTS contained in electric vehicles. This positively effects many aspects including maintenance, costs and manufacturing, significantly less. An al
