      • Clownarado OP : Buy at 3.74 put my cost at .982 per share😜

      • BigDave408 Clownarado OP : When do you enter ? I mean what date ?

      • Clownarado OP BigDave408 : Can't pinpoint a date for you sir. I trade according to mathematics. If I buy 100 at 2.00, I sell half at 4.00 (as an example). It's not perfect and doesn't always work exactly as I would like. More of a loose guideline.

      • BigDave408 Clownarado OP : I understand . I was just wondering when the stock started to take off .

      • Clownarado OP BigDave408 : Certainly. I've seen this have follow on orders twice for huge future sale contracts and oddly,  price stayed stable or dropped a little. I've also noticed it's cyclical with obvious trends up and down but no real daily or weekly pattern. (not that I could see). If you look back on 1 day or other long time frame charts and find a definitive cyclical pattern I'd like to know about it but I've been unable to detect one.
To expand on my earlier answer about doing the math: I've found a value I wanted to sell at and set the order then waited. I can recall waiting weeks for it to reach my PT but have also had it sell within a couple of days. Hope that is a better answer.
I don't have a large enough account to trade willey-nilley and am restricted on day trades so I only swing trade this.

      • BigDave408 Clownarado OP : Thank you so much for your time and insight . I’m the same . I have a small account and I’ll day trade when it  allows me to . I’m at 0 at the moment . Did you get completely restricted ? Ouch ! I was restricted on RH . I have to wait until January .
Overall I’m very new and still trying to learn. I’ve noticed that you are very active yourself and I’ll follow you and hopefully learn some more . Thank you for your time .

      • Clownarado OP BigDave408 : Only restricted to the normal 3 day trades per week and use them only when I see an opportunity to cover shares. (just in case I urgently need to use) I'm trading to gain future equity if that makes sense. Getting flagged as a PDT is not an option for me.
I'm sure many of us will benefit from other points of view and I encourage everyone to share their experiences with the community!
I am also fairly #newtotrading.com.org.net only having started earlier this year.
Lots of people here have some good tips or info but it's always advisable to do your research before committing to a trade. @curtaincall recently shared some experience and advice that I really liked.
        Good luck!

      • Clownarado OP BigDave408 : What is RH?

      • curtaincall Clownarado OP : Robinhood I believe

      • Clownarado OP BigDave408 :

Now that you've been here, there's no way back...
