Mcsnacks H Tupack OP Diana Quesadilla : 6 million shares were borrowed as puts/sells for a lower price. Until there are 6 million calls/buys to match that volume the price goes down. When it exceeds the puts the price goes up. Stocks aren’t affect 2 ways. It’s 4 ways. First two are buy and sell. Next 2 are calls and puts. Which are future sells and buys. They add into the price the future sentiment of the stock. So when puts are more than calls the future sentiment is lower price. So that’s added to the present price. So even tho more are buying today than selling. The future selling plus present day selling outweighs the future buying and present day buying so the price goes down. Making people who don’t understand the market think that people are selling the stock but they aren’t. They are selling it in the future mostly.
