Short options due

how long do you think these hedgies will hold these short options? i know they accrue interest everyday, but do they think when they can short ladder sgsin Friday, that they can recoup their loses if theyre able to drive down the prices?
I saw they had 100m shorts due yesterday 2-4 a share, and 300m due today 1-5 a share.even at the current stock price that translates into billiona in losses. So im wondering if we are on track to bankrupt a big hedge fund again? thoughts?
