Mcsnacks H Tupack : There are reasons why they didn’t survive. Like weather. It’s not so great in the south sitting outside in august when the nighttime low is 80 and skeeters are everywhere. Or up north when it’s 30. I remember going to them. But the only reason you went was because it was the only way you could see the movie, there were no dvds,or downloading it. And then vcrs came out, and A/C theatres and all of a sudden no one wanted to pay 2.00 to go to the drive-in, they would rather pay 5.00 for comfort. Plus people can do that at home now. Build one in your backyard. It will still only be used in spring or fall.

Aisana : If AMC cares about sound quality, I guess they won’t be happy about drive-in theater. Yet drive in theaters are cool.
AlohaKid Mcsnacks H Tupack : I grew up in Southern California and we had an drive-in movies in Orange and it was awesome! Sure some downsides, quality of audio and quality of film weren’t the best but it was fun as a kid. Parents would always sneak us in put a blanket over us ahah. When they tore that down I was real bummed but your right probably a thing of the past.
Mcsnacks H Tupack : The only thing I remember about the drive-ins is lots of nudity. Not on the screen but in every vehicle I had to walk by to get popcorn and a drink at 8yrs old. AHHH Good Times....
