New here...someone with more experience?
$AMC Entertainment (AMC.US)$ I am holding my shares and have set my price limits. I have been following daily for weeks, reading all your comments, learning how to analyze charts etc etc. Here's my question for those of you with more experience... everyone is excited about closing over $8... (me too, my avg. price is 6.50)... but can't shorts be covered post-market at that price of 8.01? I see many large chunks being sold after market... Thanks in advance, and may the odds be ever in our favor!

Strider X : sadly yes, they have until 530pm to cover and that is only required if they have not already bought enough to cover what was pre-sold as options. also, setting a sell limit for what you want to make limits the number of shares available for them to find at the price they are looking for, because sometimes the order gets put in for x amount of shares for "best price" and that can be anything depending on what the next available set of shares are priced at. hope this helps.
lizhenyu : last time when this kind of frenzy happens around 1month ago, the same stupid speech was mentioned where the closing price sat at 12 last time instead of 8. And everybody who doesn’t know anything and those who pretend they know something, were all cheered and hoorayed together and claimed that it was a huge victory. When happens next? Sadly, nothing, the price kept dropping with no bounce back. So pls don’t believe someone who’s telling you keep the 8 gate then we ll win n those Hf lose, that’s total bs in my understanding.
Strider X lizhenyu : wich is why I said the truth, that they can cover in after hours. and on my previous posts of me personally willing to hold. this is a stock that when we open up more and more vacs coming in this will go back to normal which was over 20. do some dd buddy
before trying to bring others down.
