  • Mcsnacks H Tupack OP : California already has gas vehicles banned by 2025. But they don’t even have enough power now to run the state during the summers. And then to throw EV charging on top of that. Morons. Trying to make all the green people and environmentalists happy. Hope they like 102 degrees and no power during the summer. Or electric bills over $5,000 a month.

  • JP88 : Politicians don't think about logistics when pushing an agenda, that's for sure.

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack OP : All this Green push onto the world could end up actually destroying the environment more than before. They want everything to be greener or better for the environment without sacrificing any of their comforts which right now is impossible. The only way to be green is to not use any mode of transportation unless it’s powered by solar, wind, or your own physical energy. If you say you’re green and you don’t use these as a means of transportation then you’re just a hypocrite and need to shut the hell up.

  • Yarii : so who's in charge of upgrading usa power grid?

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack OP Yarii : The states. If they have enough in the budget. But then you also are going to  need more power for those grids. And to power them you need coal and natural gas. Lots of it.

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack OP : Which means they will probably have to be powered by nuclear energy.

  • Mercado : [undefined][undefined] go ahead try it out

  • wulalawu Mcsnacks H Tupack OP : You are wrong. Nuclear has been around for many years. It’s because of the fear from the general public that there’s no new nuclear power plant built for more than 3 decades.

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack OP wulalawu : They just built 2 nuclear reactors in Georgia. They are expensive to build and run tho because of how dangerous nuclear is. Until accident tolerant fuels become more widespread at least.
