Listen, Im all for da' MOON my friends, but these posts of hold till $2K and the like, well, not cool gerrinf evertomes hopes up. The trick, rather the strategy here is, for me, and just like mr @Tupack mcsnacks , is complete emergence and analysis, along with non stop chart watching, real insight and thought, mixed with a little luck, and we can and WILL do this. He's taught me a more over 3 weeks and I commend you my friend. Thx, much appreciated friend. And yes, him alomg with me, aren't financial advisors so don't listen to me or anyone for that matter, on the 💯%. Opinions are just like the saying, EVERYBODY got one...unless ya don't.

  • Griffster OP : I meamt *not cool giving overtones and hopes of UP*... HATE THIS STUPID SWIFTKEY...

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : No one wants to hear the truth. But the SEC has already made a list of about 10 stocks they considered being market manipulation. They are taking care of the short sellers but due to the fact that on all these websites people are planning and executing the buying up of shares to make it go to 100 or 1000 or to make squeeze it or gamma squeeze they say that is market manipulation as well so anytime those stocks start to run up they will be stopped and reset using the LULD rule on amendment 10. They can keep buying up shares and having it slowly increase until May. Then AMC is just going to start doing offerings all the time. I figure by 2022 they could have bought up 1billion shares. But the price will still be at around 9-10.00. AMC will never see 1000, 100, not even 50 dollars in the next 2 years. AMC is hurting for money to bad to stop doing offerings and the SEC will keep it held down  under 20 dollars until May. Everyone saw what happened yesterday at 12:19, that was the SEC stopping all those stocks from squeezing right before they took off.

  • Griffster OP Mcsnacks H Tupack : That makes sense man. Not sure how long youve been in the market and thst doesn't matter, I appreciate your remarkable insight and more should take you seriously...you KNOW WHAT YOU SPEAK FRIEND.
       I hope that it reaches 20 soon, but I ask you this...should I get out at that point and play some other stocks till we can see some real gains on AMC? I just feel like I simply cannot hold for that long and make any real gains on others in the process. I know tou ain't an advisor, just wanted your 2¢. Thanks @Tupack mcsnacks.
    @Griffster

  • OnlyJesus Mcsnacks H Tupack : I hope you’re wrong but it looks like what you said may be true. Have you found anything that can confirm your theory on the SEC and these “meme” stocks?  Because there is no laws currently on the books about retail investors talking/posting about stocks they hold. I mean has there ever in the history of buying and selling stocks been a time where retail investors manipulated the market? It’s impossible for us to manipulate the market. Just asking because I have heard convincing arguments from both sides of explaining what happened at 12:17pm 3/10/21

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : This is what they sent me. Close-out purchases of stock will not necessarily drive up prices of such stocks. One of the primary purposes of Regulation SHO is to clean up open fail positions, but not to cause short squeezes. The term “short squeeze” refers to the pressure on short sellers to cover their positions as a result of sharp price increases or difficulty in borrowing the security the sellers are short. The rush by short sellers to cover produces additional upward pressure on the price of the stock, which then can cause an even greater squeeze. Although some short squeezes may occur naturally in the market, a scheme to manipulate the price or availability of stock in order to cause a short squeeze is illegal.
    Said it wouldn’t be considered to be occurring naturally since on all the websites all they talk about is making them short squeeze to excessive amounts. And you can’t conspire with thousands of people to buy up shares to make the stock go up to 1000 or even 100 because thats price manipulation. It’s not buying the stock because of its future worth and its saying if we all buy enough shares it will go to 1000 and then we will sell and be rich. That’s market manipulation for gains on false premises.

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : It’s considered manipulation anytime a large amount of people buy up a large amount of shares when their isn’t a news story that came out or ER. When it happens randomly it’s considered planned.

  • Phyrevixen : @DEADSEED1111@OldNormanBatesMr. McSnax speaking some autistic spectrum information.

  • DEADSEED1111 : The first go around with GME I bought in 1 share made a c-note and bought in again at 337 and change... I left my 1 share in ride or die until around 50 bucks  and sold for a loss greater than the c-note of profit... on principle which most will never understand... I then made it a point to go to the local gamestop just to check it out,  also bought my nephews some stuff, in a way of knowing my jing went to their pocket, and I haven't played a video game... other than original Duckhunter... in years, 17yrs to be exact... like I said at the time I have payed more for a bar tab or tipped strippers or on bail money than I lost, but I do firmly believe in a free market but none the less a fair market, all these rules being applied and or created is due to exactly what @Tupack mcsnacks said.... furthermore I personally do not try to purchase anything WSB mentions or any stock with the word Reddit in the summary of the literature .... I grew up not completely understanding the market other than buy a share and it goes up and you make money so I am still learning from a lot of great helpful people, but the ability to basically (from what I learned the hard way... twice now) pump up a stock out there in social media and then create a massive frenzy for it and make it rise with no actual basis seems wrong,  now maybe not illegal (1st Amendment) but wrong.... do I hate shorts, yes, do I understand that they are a necessary part of the market, yes, but also I realize that manipulation of the price of a product is bad... I've had my ass kicked for it... don't ask... I have also talked with friends and others who's first stock buy ever was GME...

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : And all the short sellers are being punished now also. They have been banned from short selling until they find shares to buy and fix all their fail to delivers, no matter how long it takes all the fail to delivers will be fixed. So it’s not like the wsb people or others that invested to fix the short selling didnt fix it, they have. Their are new rules in place and being enforced. Continuing to try to squeeze it so that you get rich now makes you no better than the short sellers who drove it down to get rich. Once you change the system for the better you can’t then make it worse by cheating the system because of your greed. And you don’t have to stop investing. You can even keep investing in AMC and GME just don’t be on the bandwagon of the ones in it for the wrong reasons.

  • Mcsnacks H Tupack : I wonder how many are still holding. 🤔
