Changing Chart Orientation and Understanding Position Cost Distribution

Happy Easter, everyone! I have been using Moomoo mobile app for IOS. Recently, I accidentally discovered some hidden features that I hope will be useful to new users of Moomoo.

1) Changing Chart Orientation

Double clicking on the chart will make it switch from portrait mode to landscape mode and you can select more time periods for viewing the charts.

Also, you can only view the chronological ticker information for time frame (Singapore market) in the landscape orientation.

Singapore Market (Portrait): Ticker information is aggregated by price.

Singapore Market (Landscape): Ticker information is ordered by time. The time is displayed in grey on the left. Red means a sell order while green means a buy order. Grey means neutral (no effect on the market price).

2) Position Cost Distribution

I have also been trying to understand the Position Cost Distribution and I accidentally discovered this explanation on Fututrade website which is not available on Futusg website. Kindly like this post if it has helped you in any way :) https://support.fututrade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035399214-What-is-position-cost-distribution-

  • Dadacai OP : @MayTayYou can read the above. Change to landscape orientation and choose Max. But do note it depends on the amount of data moomoo has in its database. It may not have the  data for all periods for all stocks. You may also need to adjust for corporate actions.
