And ironic as my oldest is all about Sea of Thieves right now and on a quest for virtual bounty while we are here for the tendie bounty. I cut to 8 but I do need some new finds to watch as I had to get out of my old school mindset and jump into the swing of trading actively.

Captain Flint : Excellent! It was meant to be lol I was binge watching Black Sails when I started trading and that's great, hows the transition going? Ive been trying to get my family to move on from the old school way a bit too haha any favorite stocks/industries so far? bctx, baos, and vlon might be good additions to one of your watchlists, recent IPOs with low outstanding shares and positive upcoming catalysts hopefully haha pltr, mark and vxrt are 3 of my favorite investments but those are more long term holds. *just my opinions not investment advice lol

classicgirl17 OP Captain Flint : Sounds like a cool show! It was meant to be! lol! Transition is good so far but lots to learn about charts and hot industries. Old school buy & hold saved us during dark days that started from the recession. BUT I love watching the numbers every day so this suits me better for our comeback. Trading just hit me in the why have I not been doing this? Industries I like are especially why I needed to organize my lists. I was ignoring areas I know... like food as we own a Deli and Cannabis as CBD is a side gig. Gaming because my kids have shown me the value of that world. I see how gaming computers are becoming as common as an XBox and have learned a bit about the builds/repairs. Knowing RBLX was coming was what got me back in. Not happy how they manipulated it at opening though. I like gold/mining because years ago when we hired a financial advisor, my husband was bigly interested in sinking a lot in gold. Dude said it wasn't a good idea. Well we would have quadrupled our money had we followed his instinct not that guy. So I hopped in Barrick in Feb. You have good favorites. I have PLTR & MARK on my list. This week... I like ZDGE and RAIL. I had to really think about that but your question made me realize I like the ones with a lot of movement. I suppose because that's how our lives have been the past few years, the volatility feels familiar and not scary anymore. Wish we could trade more pennies on MooMoo. Husband is in my ear with cars/racing/auto tech as he knows that well. I appreciate your ideas to look into as I like to read about companies I don't know. FOMO is real when there are so many dipping right now! Sorry... wordy... just had my coffee. What industries do you especially like?

Captain Flint : Great glad to hear it!! Yeah I only started about a year ago and regret not getting into it sooner. Unfortunately spent like 7 years getting business degrees and learned way more in the past year while actually making money Sorry to hear about that financial advisor advising you out of those sweet tendies tho that sucks! But it sounds like you've got some good background information to go on now! I worked in warehousing up until Rona started, so a lot of my early investments were trucking/logistics related and it never hurts to go with what you've seen firsthand haha What happened with the roblox ipo? Did the tutes load up all morning and then the price like double when it opened to retail? lol I saw that a couple times and now I just hold out for awhile and see where it settles. And thank you! I'm definitely going to add RAIL to a watchlist and do some DD, seems right up my alley haha part of what I love about this is just researching companies, sorry to say I didnt know how much cool shit was going on in the world till I started investing and I'm with you, I hope MooMoo expands the OTC options, I'd really like to get in on the mushroom boom and some less known btc miners before they start getting uplisted  I was pumped to see they finally have Argo blockchain listed on here but idk if it can be bought yet. I just dont feel like starting another trading platform for a few stocks hahaha and I'm all over the place honestly, just trying to learn as fast as possible. no real favorite industry, just ones I shy away from for now like ev and pharmaceuticals until I develop a better understanding lol and when I do it's for something that strikes me as rare or new, like vaxart develops traditional injection medications into pill form and vlon is making adderall that supposedly cant be abused recreationally so could be big or could be a bust haha

classicgirl17 OP Captain Flint : Just saw this. I relate to a lot of it! Funny isn't it...how college misses so much educating. RBLX... yes - they drove it up BIG before we could buy. I see how much potential for growth there is in it. I would also like to get into the mushrooms. I'm all for plants and rarely for meds so I steer away from all straight up pharma no matter how they rocket. Meds hurt me and many I know. You're wise to be doing this now and have a leg up watching the market during the craziness of last year. We could have done so much better managing some of the ones we bought way back. Had to drain it during dark times and am hoping all that was lost will be returned. Lots more life lessons to apply here now but like you am all over the place right now. lol! So many cool companies out there and I had zero idea. It's hard to focus but I love learning about all that is out there.

Arc_to_Arcturus : Thanks! I had made it to the edit screen but for whatever reason did not notice the options on the bottom. Moomoo is loaded with capability but the downside is that it is visually cluttered. At least to me.
