Because they can't take phony shares and return them to the banks. They are only using them to scare us into selling our REAL shares( TO RETURN THEM AT A CHEAPER PRICE) .That's like paying off a debt with FAKE money. And they are only fuc&ing themselves WORST because they have to LEGALLY honor the FAKE shares they keep selling to us. THE PRICE DONT MEAN SHIT UNLESS ITS COMING FROM REAL PEOPLE SELLING THEIR SHARES.

KING of TRADE OP Neroo : The HFs are using a loophole in which they are flooding AMC with fake shares that are not coming from AMC. So if you buy them you don't really own any part of the company. But the market will think that the increase in volume of shares makes the current shares worthless. They are using the OVER THE COUNTER stock market to PUT shares into AMC than instead buying shares of AMC on the OVER THE COUNTER market. And they are screwing themselves worse because they will have to cover the fake shares as well as the ones they already needed in the first place.
