jumpingjilligan : you should look at the world news + rules implemented by governments. As the covid pandemic is recovering, you might see airplane stocks moving upwards as people are pre-empting that travel will resume and thus people will take planes. The price prob taking a dip due to other economical reasons + news about travel bubble with Taiwan being cancelled again.
Honestly, SG stocks move really slow so if you buy, it should be for a long term hold. In the long term, SIA will def move up as it is the pride of Singapore. It is recognized internationally and the chance of it going to 0 is really low. Only chance is if it is claimed by the government. But for reals, just hodl this stone
benzimin : Just my humble opinion. Drop further because the border in the world will not open any time soon due to CoVID-19. So all airlines taking a major hit. So the valuation of airline stock are low as they have asset but unable to utilise. So revenue and profit go down. Meaning more losses. Still, for shorters, they are looking at short term so more sell than buy recently. But for people that are looking at long term growth, this will definitely be worth it once most of the countries open up their borders. Don't forget this is a national airline too. Hold to
