haisell heredia OP : Well buy more then!!!!
Purdy Squatch : naw, getting to be the season to step away from these microcap stocks and do the dividend shuffle
haisell heredia OP Purdy Squatch : What you like?
Purdy Squatch haisell heredia OP : Buying $Antero Midstream (AM.US)$ today for the 0.22 dividend at 9.00/share. Selling on Wednesday.
Buying $Orchid Island Capital Inc (ORC.US)$ on Wednesday for 0.06 dividend at 6.00/share. Selling on Friday.
Buying $Shell Midstream Partners LP (SHLX.US)$ on Friday for 0.46 dividend at 16.00/share.....
so on so fourth, try to do at least 2 dividend EX trades a week,....
Griffster Purdy Squatch : Bravo on that one dude. I bought AMC close to that and sold at 14, made a nice $, wasnt a lot of shares, still nice.
OldNormanBates Purdy Squatch : So I'm not really familiar with hitting dividends so close like that.Where do you find the info to be able to buy on 1 day,get dividends and then sell so quickly..??
Purdy Squatch : You can buy the day before the dividend EX date, before closing, hold the entire EX dividend date and sell the day after dividend EX date and still receive the dividend for that stock. I use Fidelity stock screener (think you have to have an account, I'll check on that though) and type in the EX dividend date I'll have funds available. It will give you a list of stocks that pays dividends and has a EX dividend date on that particular date. I sort highest yield first, then research from there. Trick is to find a stock with high yield, on a current uptrend (bearish) and hasn't recently hit a 52 week high. It's more than just buy, hold, sell, have to make sure you sell at the same price or higher because you're ROI will cut into your dividend gains if you sell at a loss.... I've got some DD done on stocks up till second week of May if you're interested in trying my madness?
