1. What is Capital flow?
Capital Flow often refers to the movement of the large capital with purpose. In moomoo, this tab only shows the capital flow of individual stock/ETF or other kinds of investment target you are browsing on our platform.
2. Why should we pay attention to it
In the United States, individual investors made up an estimated 19.5% of U.S equity trading according to Bloomberg Intelligence. Most of the time, capital flow can Individual investor needs to understand how the institutional investor is making their investment choice. This could serve as a reference for further investment choices.
In Moomoo, capital flow is classified as Large (L); Medium (M); Small (S). The detailed classification method could be found by hovering your mouse over the question mark next to the “Fund Distribution” tab on PC or “Capital Tracking” on mobile.
