  • Shadow_Walker : Somewhat affect

  • Caleb Utt : Yes and no. Different marks are just that, different markets. To own all the AMC shares, you would HAVE to connect to each of these markets to buy the shares. Because each market is considered its own, there isn't a reverberating price action into other markets.

However, most markets hang around the same price for the same reasons, the biggest being international margin selling. Someone in Germany, for example, sees that the US prices are lower, they'll buy on the US market and resell on the Frankfurt Exchange which, in turn, elevates the price. This is as common as short sellers in AMC, and is why the trends USUALLY follow. However, because they aren't connected, there is nothing that forces the US market to open around the same prices. Though, we have already loaded $140 strikes for tomorrow

  • Caleb Utt : So basically, what you're seeing in Germany, are people taking advantage of the US market, which is what the Asian market will do, and once the US market opens, it will move positions around just like the formers. It's an endless cycle.

  • disassembly line : youre thinking of overlapping markets so yay and nay. most people seem to prefer the US market (hence ants)

  • Caleb Utt disassembly line : If the international markets close up 10%, the odds of the US market opening up much lower than 7-8% below that is rare. If one market's price was that diferent, it would create an enormous imbalance and inveitable currency shortages
