Will America denounce Bitcoin as a currency? The threat to the U.S. dollar as a reserve is real.
America may be toying with the idea of denouncing Bitcoin as a currency after the pipeline attack. The U.S Government will back the U.S. Dollar and preserve it as a world reserve currency to preserve U.S. Sanctions abilities. It appears that Bitcoin will be a topic of discussion once again as Biden organizes a congressional caucus on the regulations. The discussion of Bitcoin being backed as a currency by foreign intities in attempts to challenge the U.S. dollar as a world reserve is something to look at. The main issue would be that if Bitcoin were allowed as a currency at all it would be a potential threat to the U.S. dollar and if the U.S. dollar were replaced then all I.S. sanctions on any other country would be void. Will the United States allow this to happen?

objectvoyage3 : of course not dumbass, our government just has to hold way more btc percentage wise than our collective enemies and they haven't decided how much they're willing to pay for those 10 million coins
Payro Baebee : Bitcoin isn't the problem here. Anything can be bad if it is used with malicious intentions. If anything, they should be commending the transparency of the Bitcoin block chain.
