MadGuineaPig Ash 123 : you must sell to capture the gains. generally you don't want to sell unless your in the green. meme stocks excluded. you don't sell meme stocks till they crash into the moon or Mars. only sell meme when it makes you ritch. for any other stock look at you charts. buy low wait a bit for stock to go up. then sell to capture your gains. repeat. sometimes you can ride a stock. buy low sell high wait a bit buy back lower than you sold wait for it to go back up. many different ways to do it. try scalping, day trades. or med to long trades. I suggest googling different ways to trade. learn for a bit with paper trade. then throw 100 in you account and try your hand.lots of helpful folks out here just post a question if you got one. someone will speak up.
