"Nothing lasts forever"

My old man told me this one day during a ride home, when I told him that I've started stocks trading. He's a quiet man, he's not good at expressing himself and I hardly cared about what he says. But that night was probably the only time that I understood his words the most - what goes up, must come down, vice versa. It was also at this night that I realized how much this phrase meant to me - nothing in life lasts forever, so cherish what we have, and endure what we're going through. Thank you Dad.
