hi newbies/new apes, I thought to share my learnings for the past 3 weeks since I started investing in stocks as a reminder and encouragement to all.
1. investment is for the long haul. the mentality to "get rich fast" will not be helpful, especially if we are looking at investing long term. it took the seniors 6 months to get where they are for AMC today and we/they really don't know when the chart will rocket.
2. when in doubt, zoom out at the chart. the figures may be declining for the day but in actual fact, the stock has been climbing steadily.
3. understand your "why" - asking repeatedly about when is the gamma/short squeeze; if it is a good time/price to buy the stock; when this, when that.... it will not get you anywhere.
yes we are here to earn some extra money (me too) but there's no such thing as "easy money, fast cash". even if there are, if not careful, we may get burnt as easily and fast.
4. you MUST do your own due diligence. I am not great with numbers and watching the videos by experts make my head spin but I force myself to continue because this is my hard earned money. as much as there are sound fellow investors here, they may not be right.
be an informed investor and not follow blindly to a "stranger" online (not dissing everyone here but my point is on DD)

cheddar power OP : to be honest, I feel that I happen to be at the right place and time to join this stock and its social movement! if not for the confidence and many DD done by others who took time to share, I don't think I will be very chill about the ups and downs too!
TaMA_ChaN : Well come my fellow ape. Well I was here since around $12 and AVERAGE DOWN to below $10….. but I am still holding. With my DD, I believe it will be having a floor at $1k - $2.5k once we pass the $500 mark.
Like you said, there is no quick pill to be rich instantly, when to enter again or sell is base on your own conviction about the stock. Today is a nice weekend, HODL, hydrate yourself and have a pleasant weekend ahead. -ApeStrongTogether

Konman : I must say for the time I have into all the research and trials and tribulations I went through with AMC. I was up 30k at one time. and down 17k at one time. just from the years I lost on my life with this, I/WE DESERVE TO CATCH A BREAK FOR ONCE. THIS IS FOR ALL US SO CALLED LITTLE GUYS.
