102560988 clifford : My father gamble horse racing. the only share he had was Singtel shares which I paid for it n he sold it n kept the money without telling me as he needed the money to pay for his horse racing debt.
so my take from his life lesson is never gamble (invest) more than what u can afford to lose.
so far I didn't make much nor lose in stock market.
AhHuat1333 :
AhHuat1333 : BUY AT FEARS, SELL ON OPTIMISTIC....
StoneDoubt : DON'T BUY DOGE FOR DAD ON FATHER'S DAY!
Jeff Parent : my NO 1 trading rule is to have a plan and stick to it. Buying any type of stock without an entry and exit plan will in most cases result in a loss. Have a plan, and that plan should also include when to cut losses if things go south. Stick to your convictions. it is very easy to loose money chasing the big gains. Ive learned that all large gains come with large risk. if you aren't prepared to buy low an sell high then think your planning through carefully. Key point here is buy low, which means before you see those large gains
drayco007 Jeff Parent : I say the Plan is more important, but fully agree, and am glad to see sound advice mixed with belief in the current movement (which is neither logical nor normal... but when in Rome?!), both of which are valid and real
若息则已 : No1 trading rule: make your own decisions independently, do not follow others
nukeskull : well..my dad is not around anymore. but I'm a dad with 2 boys so happy father's day to myself and hope tonight all stocks fly to the moon
101497871 : the key is patience
NigelEng : ooo
