My #1 Dad rule for investing.

This would have to be to invest money that you would otherwise just waste. For instance when I would spend money on fast food my dad would say if you took some of that money and invested it at the end of the day I would have a healthy investment rather than an unhealthy meal.

He would quote me saying "It's only a couple of dollars for a drink and a burger, I won't miss it." so he would change up what I said by saying "It's only a few dollars invested but you'll have it!"

And that's how exactly how I started investing with $10 and then each week starting to add to get to different goals?
