My #1 rule is to never buy in to something purely based on public opinion. Just because many people are hyping up certain stocks does not necessarily translate to a good overall investment for myself. Make sure that you stay in touch with your own values and ask yourself if there is a high chance you will regret your decision. Sometimes, the high risk high reward isn't worth the adrenaline rush.
