these huge sell orders are never filled. they move around or disappear when their ask price gets close. pure manipulation.

Edotyz : Interesting observation, but how will that translate to manipulation? What would be the intention for moving the sell orders constantly?
ShiverrMeeTendurrzz OP Edotyz : I'm no expert but from my understanding, it has an effect on the algorithm used in evaluating stock price, ie supply vs demand etc. but also, if you're using the chart and order book to make decisions on your investment, seeing a huge sell order at a certain price for example, may lead you to believe that moving past that price point will be more difficult than it actually will be since they'll just change the order before their shares actually get sold at that price. This can lead people to set lower sell prices which is exactly what short sellers and other bearish investors want.
