Melodidi OP jja2021 : The logic behind the data is that they scrape top-rated comments from top-rated posts on the WallStreetBets subreddit and analyze the content for any stock ticker mentions. When a stock ticker is found, they run the comment through a neural network and the sentiment analysis is performed. The stock sentiment is either positive with a value from 1 to 100, or it is negative with a value from -1 to -100. The neural net uses "bag of words" pre-processing, meaning that word order and sentence structure is lost. However, they find that the analysis is fairly accurate due to the general simplicity of the comments people write on reddit.
So its not just simply counting all the posts with AMC
