  • OrangeBanana : yes it will affect their underwriting services which accounts for less than 12% of their revenue. Will see a hit in the near term but their main driver for growth is still their commissions and margin loans

  • 27176026 : Who is Tencent? Tencent is a white rabbit enterprise that has good citizens and cooperates with the government. Is there still less big data collected by China from WeChat? Therefore, Tencent's Futu will only increase more and more vigorously. Data collected abroad will continue to be transmitted to China, and it will also receive strong support from the government. The first major impact is the imminent liberalization of a securities investment channel equal to 50,000 US dollars per person per year (there are reports in the news). Tencent is a big meat eater.

  • 71615605 OrangeBanana : And futu relies on a lot of the IPOs too.. looks like it will be a wild ride..

  • 101671257 : Futu & Tigr don’t get to participate much on such IPOs  US on nyse or Nasdaq. Generally the running of such IPOs goes to the big boys like JPM, Morgan, Goldman.

This should be a good news, since Chinese companies stop listing in US and instead list on HK or Shanghai, where FUTU and Tigr have chance to participate as the underwriter
