China's PPI rose 8.8% year on year in June, and CPI rose 1.1% year on year
As commodity prices rose and domestic demand recovered steadily, China's industrial product prices continued to rise in June. PPI continued to rise year on year, and CPI rose year on year and fell month on month, mainly affected by the increase in pork prices.
In June 2021, the national consumer price (CPI) rose 1.1% year on year, down 0.2 percentage points from the previous month;
The month-on-month decline was 0.4%, and the decline was 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous month.
The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, rose 0.9% year over year, the same increase as last month.
