XIAOMI's mobile phone sales surpassed Apple Inc and became the second place in the world.
XIAOMI ranked second in the smartphone market for the first time in the second quarter, with a market share of 17%, surpassing Apple Inc, according to market research firm Canalys Research.
XIAOMI founder and CEO Lei Jun released a full letter saying that XIAOMI became the second in the world for the first time, which is a fantastic achievement and a major milestone in the history of XIAOMI's development.
Lei Jun also said that the second place in the world means greater challenges and greater responsibilities, and that it is bound to face a fierce and anxious tug-of-war. Compared with the current celebration, Lei Jun is looking forward to being able to really hold on to the second place in the world as soon as possible.
