Today, we are going to explain TOP 10 most frequently asked questions below
About the US Stock Paper Trading Competition:
 
Question1: What is Paper Trading? Does it related to real money?
Answer: Nope, Paper Trading is a simulated trade to practice buying and selling without risking real money, it aims to educate investors and make you feel comfortable to trade.

Register before 20th of July. 
 
Question 2: What the SGD8888 Cash Coupon is?
Answer: $8888 is cash coupon, They can be exchanged for cash in the moomoo App. Click the "Redeem" button, and the cash will be issued to your corresponding securities account.  If you have not yet opened the securities account, the cash coupon will be kept for you for 180 days after it is received. Please open the securities account within the validity period and manually receive the cash.

Question 3: What the BB Stock Card is？
Answer: BB card is actually BlackBerry stock card, When you have enough stock cards of the same type, you can use them to redeem stocks to your securities account in the moomoo App (The validity period of stock cards is 365 days) If you dont have enough stock cards, you may wait and collect, until you have enough stock cards to redeem. (If you have not opened the securities account, please open the securities account within the validity period and redeem the corresponding stocks manually)
 
Question 4: Why cant I join the competition?
Answer: It might because you registered your account outside of Singapore. You may contact our Customer Service, and they will help you to solve this problem.
 
Question 5: Is there any other gifts besides the TOP10 trader in leaderboard and Seasoned Task?
Answer:

Question 6: Is the paper Trading Competition only for US Stock?
Answer : Yesss, cause this is "US Stock Paper Trading Competition". If you want practice your skills on trading options, you may do it through paper trading, but there is no competition for other types of the financial instrument, but we are planning to hold such competition in the future.
About the trading stuffs
 
Question 7: For what period of time the trading hours are?
Answer: The regular trading hours are Monday to Friday 9:30~16:00 (US Eastern Time).
 
Question 8: Why does my order failed to place?
Answer: Make sure you are in the regular trading hours. If you are still failed to place the order, try to adjust the price and quantity. When your order is under pending status, you can simply tap the symbol you bought, and then tab the "EDIT" buttom to adjust the price and quantity of this order, then tab buy to place the order.
 
Question 9: Does is support pre and after market trading?
Answer: No, paper trading is only available during regular trading hours only.
 
Question 10: Does is support short selling?
Answer: No, it doesn't support short selling or margin trading.
