Invest smart (according to your strategy)

Earnings season affects you differently depending on your strategy...

1) For a short term, momentum play...
You could long or short a play like $Microsoft (MSFT.US)$ or $Tesla (TSLA.US)$ depending on how you think the markets will react after results are released

2) For a longer term, value investor...
it will seem better to pick up plays that may have missed earnings estimates...or a value stalwart like $Berkshire Hathaway-B (BRK.B.US)$

For me, I'm loading up on stocks that are overlooked when everyone is distracted by earnings
