How to Invest during Earnings Season?
Views 1.3M Contents 568

Another good start for Pfizer and BionTech

After reports of Pfizer beating the Q2 earnings by 10 cents per share, stocks of BionTech and Pfizer went up by 3.5% and 3.09% respectively.
$Pfizer (PFE.US)$ $BioNTech (BNTX.US)$
Now, on how to invest during earnings season, I use the 100 EMA and 100 SMA to find the entry point. For the 100 EMA, it is to roughly guess whether the stock will go rise or fall. If the candle is above the EMA, the stock will have 60-70% probability that it will rise and if the candle is below the EMA, the same probability will apply as well. For the 100 SMA, once the stock touches the line, you should go for it and buy. But you cant only rely on the EMA and SMA, it is to your advantage to see whether the stock is overbought or oversold by using RSI. If it is over 70, it means the stock is overbought and may indicate an exit point but if it is below 30, it means it is oversold and could indicate an entry point. And most importantly, please read up on the company's financials, what do they do and how they generate revenue.
