How do you I go about buying and selling during earnings season? Not really any differently than I would buying and selling at any other time. I do love investing in companies when they drop after earnings for a short term reason. Apple $Apple (AAPL.US)$ shares are perfect example this earning season. Apple $Apple (AAPL.US)$ shares are trading lower after the company reported Q3 earning results. While the company beat EPS and sales estimates, chip shortage concerns have possibly weighed on the stock price. Apples iPhone and iOS have consistently been rated at the top of the pack in terms of customer loyalty, engagement, and security, which bodes well for long term customer retention. Apple is still innovating Apple Pay, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and AirPods, which not only drive incremental revenue, but more crucially help retain iPhone users in the long run. I believe all these long term factors significantly outweigh the stock price drop due to the temporary, short term chip shortage, making Apple $Apple (AAPL.US)$ stock the biggest winner in my book.
