Abyssus : What I gathered is that company could not issue dividend when they are in debt so that's out of the question until the company is debt free hence the shareholder vote for issuing of share last time.
7777777 : Holding shares of AMC. Not in favor of that proposal. AMC can keep the cash and focus on running the business.

Amc does a $.05 dividend. About 25 mill worth. Super easy to do with how much cash they are.making thEse days. Now if there are fake share , iou shares, that means hedges, not amc have to cover those extra cost. Not only that they Lose that dividend cost on their short positions as well.
