It’s ok… To each his own… At the end of the day my objective for this is because I can’t stand how the “free market” is being manipulated to the point that it’s disgusting. If buying and holding helps with hurting those HFs and in the process we might strike gold then sure, sign me up.

I think what he meant was, there are apparently 2 ways he could buy from Schwab (and other brokerage(s) which the comment section mentioned too). One is through the “auto” mode which has to go through the HFs and DPs and stuff and the other which is the “direct route” which is what he did, which I guess it means direct to the market itself. I am still new to this so I am not 100% sure but from the comments that’s what I understood.
